“Waaaaaakke meee upp… when September ennnnnds!”

You just sang it in your head, didn’t you?

But here’s the things we don’t want to sleep through September at Dream City Church!!!

We don’t want to coast. We don’t want to miss what God is doing. 

We want to press in, fast, pray, and believe for miracles, signs, and wonders.

THIS SEPTEMBER God is leading us to set aside Tuesdays and Wednesdays as days of fasting and prayer.

We believe He is calling Dream City Church into a deeper season of hunger, not just physical hunger, but spiritual hunger.

Fasting is more than skipping meals or starving yourself.

It is about laying something down so God can fill us with more of Him.

Have you ever noticed the moment you decide to fast, suddenly everything looks DELICIOUS?

Foods you normally do not even want start calling your name. 

Broccoli starts looking like steak.

 And the fridge and pantry starts whispering, “You know you want these SNACKS....

Even TV commercials seem to change...McDonald’s cheeseburgers start looking like they dropped straight from heaven.

That is how you know fasting is powerful. 

Your flesh throws a fit right before your spirit comes alive.

The Bible reminds us that you are not just a PHYSICAL BODY...

You are a spiritual being, and what you do in the natural always affects your spirit.

In Scripture, when God’s people fasted, the heavens opened, chains were broken, and miracles took place (see Acts 13:2, Joel 2:12-13, Matthew 17:21).

We are believing for the same here at Dream City Church.

After prayer, we believe these are the specific things God is leading us to fast and believe for...

We will see God move in our church like never before.

Miracles, signs, and wonders will break out.

There will be a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our city, our families, and our lives.

Every seat in this house will be filled with people who need Jesus, with families hungry for God, and with lives ready to be changed forever.

God will increase our borders, expanding our influence, our reach, and our capacity to impact this community for His Kingdom.

God will overwhelm our church with financial blessing and release a spirit of radical generosity toward Dream City so the mission He has given us can advance.

People will find freedom to take next steps and grow through baptism, serving, giving, joining Life Groups, and moving forward in their walk with God.

Every prayer, every skipped meal, every moment we choose to seek God over comfort is an invitation for His power to show up in our lives.

We are putting all our cards on the table and trusting Him.

This Thursday at 7:00 PM, we are gathering for prayer. 

I am asking all of you to join us as we seek God together and believe for miracles, breakthrough, and fresh fire in our church. Don’t miss this time in His presence!

Let’s believe together that September will not just be another month on the calendar, but a turning point for our church and for the Kingdom of God in Brazoria County.
